HI, I’M LISA
Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying (RPQ)
This is my story
The Beginning
In my early forties, I decided to embark upon the Gestalt five-year intensive Psychotherapy Program for three reasons:
FIRST, IN 2014, I WAS THE PRIMARY CAREGIVER TO A CLOSE FAMILY MEMBER WHO PASSED AWAY FROM AN AGGRESSIVE CANCER.
The experience left a profound impact on me as I witnessed firsthand what it is like for someone to experience regret at the end of life. From that day forward, I knew my life had to possess a deeper meaning.
In my grief, I underwent various forms of therapy, and over time, I healed and went through a positive transformation.
SECOND, I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE TRADITIONAL CONCEPT OF RETIREMENT.
I wanted to seek a profession with meaning and purpose that transcends well into the golden years; one where I can apply increased wisdom and life experience. Psychotherapy met my calling.
AND THIRD, I POSSESS GENUINE CARE FOR PEOPLE.
We live on a planet with immense suffering, fragmentation, and disconnect.
Our post-pandemic world has shown us how society needs healers now more than ever to support the ever-growing demand for mental health services.
My Mission
I am dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and transformative space for self-discovery, growth, and healing through psychotherapy.
